Dangers of Copyright Infringement and Potential Scams on Telegram: A Troubling Experience for TechZone101

TechZone101 is a platform that provides users with valuable information, resources, and solutions relating to technology, cyber-security, and other IT-related issues. Our commitment to delivering accurate and reliable information to our readers is unwavering, and we always strive to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. Unfortunately, we have recently faced a challenging situation with our Telegram channel, which has been banned without proper justification. This article aims to shed light on the dangers of copyright infringement, potential scams on Telegram, and the unprofessional behavior experienced on the platform.

The Incident

On [10 Of April 2023], we received a message from an account claiming to be “Telegram Support,” informing us that our channel was no longer accessible due to a supposed copyright infringement claim. We were surprised and concerned by this development, as we have always taken intellectual property rights very seriously and have never knowingly violated any such rights.

In an attempt to resolve the issue, we reached out to Markscan, the company that allegedly filed the copyright infringement claim, to request proof of the infringement and to cooperate in rectifying any unintentional violations. However, we have not received any response from them for the past two days.

We also sent an email to Telegram, emphasizing that we have not infringed on any copyrights and requesting clarification and assistance. Regrettably, we have not received any response from their end either. Additionally, we have tried to get their attention on their official Twitter handle, but our efforts have been met with silence.

The Unprofessional Nature of Telegram

This incident has exposed a troubling aspect of Telegram – their unprofessional and unresponsive approach to addressing user concerns. Many verified companies have reported various issues they face on the platform, but these reports have often been ignored by Telegram. It is disheartening to see a platform that boasts millions of users worldwide failing to address the concerns of its user base professionally and promptly.

The suspicion of Telegram's involvement in potential scams

Due to the lack of response from both Markscan and Telegram, coupled with the suspicious nature of the message we received, we are left with no choice but to suspect that Telegram's employees may be involved in these scams. This lack of transparency and accountability is not only concerning but also undermines the trust that users place in the platform. Below, you can see that my team and I conducted a thorough investigation and discovered that the email is linked to a website with an Indian founder. We have strong suspicions that this email is from an Indian co-worker of TELEGRAM.

The dangers of copyright infringement and potential scams on Telegram are real and should not be taken lightly. As a community, it is crucial to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity on the platform. The unprofessional behavior exhibited by Telegram in addressing user concerns is disheartening, and we hope that they will take the necessary steps to rectify these issues in the future.
