Wreckage found near Titanic wreck during search for missing submersibl
The U.S. Coast Guard has found wreckage near the wreck of the Titanic while searching for the missing submersible. Sadly, it has been confirmed that the submersible operated by OceanGate has a team of explorers on board, including founder and CEO Stockton Rush, respected explorer and ex-French Navy diver Paul Paul-Henry Nargeolet, entrepreneur and explorer Hamish Harding and Daoud Hercules Shahzada Dawood and his son Sulei Man Daoud implodes, killing everyone on board instantly. Our condolences and sympathies to their families and loved ones at this difficult time.
While the news of her death was tragic, it was a relief to know that the implosion resulted in immediate death rather than prolonged suffocation. The crew, including Shahzada Dawood and Hamish Harding, who also serves as a trustee of the esteemed SETI Institute, and Senior Explorers Club member Hamish Sh Harding, who are dedicated to exploring the unknown and contributing to meaningful scientific endeavors for the benefit of humanity. Explorers Club president Richard Garriott expressed his deep condolences and respect for the crew in a sincere memorial blog post.
Garriott also expressed sympathy for Stockton Rush, Shahzada Daoud and Suleiman Daoud, saying, “Our hearts go out to the families, friends and colleagues of those we have lost. .Her legacy will be a blessing and will continue to inspire us in our pursuit of scientific advancement and exploration.”
